decapitated

I, on the contrary, really enjoy all their albums.

If you go from first release to last, you will find them easiest to get into. Great stuff - kind of thrashy at first, moving into more brutal and technical realms. I found it hard to get into their newest, but I've finally got there - it's a pretty solid album...

im a mix between asmode and carassian.

third album is probably easiest to start with, but it is the most generic and boring.
second album is the best - it has a very calculated intense feel
first album is second best and also kicks arse

fourth album, im not expecting a lot from and might listen to it later in the year.

Decapitated sounds like Vader. From what I heard so far Winds of Creation is their best I think. The Negation was pretty good. But, I dont own Nihility or Organic Hallucinosis yet so can't say anything about those albums.

I don't like them at all... There are much much better Death Metal bands... like Immolation!

Decapitated are a good band if you like heaviness and aggression. Lots of nice riffs and such. They're pretty generic overall but if you're into this sort of thing you'll like it.

In as much as they both feature guitars, a bass and drumming, yes.

Winds of Creation had a similar thrash base to it, having been produced by Vaders Piotr.

Other than that, their technical tak on Death metal is pretty distinct from Vaders Slayer-on-PCP thrash based Death metal.

IMHO, of course.

I agree. Vader and Decapitated do not sound alike. Vaders riffs are much more thrashy, song structures are completely different, and Vader has a far more unique voice.

I recommend you the Nihility album. The Negation is a bit boring IMO. Decapitated is a good death metal band, I don't have their Organic Hallucinosis album yet.
