Clip on "Deliberation" looks like similiar to Travis Smith works, and Silent Hill from Konami!!!
All these release,i think, to be focused on what real Katatatonia making all self- existence years,- sorrow urbanic melancholy. Fantastic!!!

well i am still looking for them no amazon, no ebay, Teargas went for like 32 dll last time i saw it on ebay thats even more expensive than TGCD cd!

hmm and i think the pics look so much like Surrealist cinema, sorta un chien andolou or may be even begotten (what i have seen of it i shall say).
i really hope this video is different, hopefully just like random images, rather than a ministoryline with in-between scenes of the band playing...that's kinda cliche nowdays

To be honest, i didn´t like the song´s choice, in my opinion, deliberation is one of tgcd´s weakest tracks, i mean, not that it is a bad song or anything...i wanted the next video to be made for rusted, or other darker or more complex song on the album, deliberation is nice, but not exactly what i was expecting.
anyway, congrats to kata for shooting their second video, the pics looks great, bleak and abstract.

The shots of the new video look awesome, a LOT better compared to the My Twin ones if you ask me, the sphere looks way more 'katatonic' imo.

I agree with you! I didn't like the my twin video thát much because it was a bit too "normal" ... with normal actors and stuff so it didn't really fit the image I had in my head. An image that was even intensified by the great artwork from the my twin single...
The screenshots from the new video look exactly as I would picture a Katatonia world

Katatonia could not have picked a more perfect second single for The Great Cold Distance... Deliberation has all the makings of a single, not to mention that it's completely amazing and one of my absolute favorite songs ever. The video will be amazing... where can I preorder it? It's not up on Peaceville's site yet... I'll keep looking.

The fact that Deliberation will be the second single didn`t really surprise me, I actually like other more complexe tracks from the album like Rusted or Follower, but Deliberation is a perfect choice for a single and a video, very catchy...

I can`t wait to see the video.....

I was kinda hoping that "Soil's Song" would be the next single, I just think it's so original... Deliberation has a bit of a "criminal" vibe to it, especially the chorous is very similar imo, Nevertheless, it probably has one of the most beautiful-and-yet-catchy vocal lines on the whole album:
"See us sleep behind the glass, unaware of crime
Will you wake us up before it is time"
That line just blew my mind the first time I heard it and it just stuck with me ever since.
btw, the screenshots for the video look great, looking forward to this one...

This sounds amazing to me! I really didn't expect they will release the second EP so soon after "My Twin". Now I'm really looking forward to the new attempt of Charlie Cranberg and I'm curious who also contributed to the script and idea for the vision. The caps seem just as promising and katatonic. For now I can only guess what has been planed for the story.
"Deliberation" is one of my absolutely faves in TGCD. And the acoustic version of "In the White" is surely breath-taking.

Since "In The White" grew to be my favorite song on TGCD together with "Soil's Song", I can't wait to hear the acoustic version. And the new video shots look like they are taken from Travis Smith artwork... "My Twin" video was very good, but there was the obvious lack of Katatonia spirit. Honestly I don't know who is Charlie Granberg and what to expect from him, but this time it promises to be really katatonic. So it's gonna be an exiting release for sure!
P.S. I wonder if the new video will be available on Granberg's page before the single release, just like "My Twin"?
