Deliverance, Lyric Disscution

OK, everybody has had the album for a while now and you surely have had time to reflect over the songs. I thought that everyone could write a short comment on what one of the songs is about, to, you know, compare opinions.

I start:

By The Pain I See In Others: OK, I'm a bit confused here, but I think that the lyrics is about making love with someone. But I can't really make the title on the song fit in...

well I just read in the recent interview thread that Mikael's lyrics don't actually mean anything (Besides still life and MAYH) in the sense that there is a clear consistent idea through out the lyrics.

I think his lyrics make sense in many cases...guys, just read the lyrics to the title song from Deliverance.

his lyrics have come to make sense since orchid, where he just wrote them on the way to record them cos they sounded good together.

i think hes really talented with his lyrics at the moment, (i know its not off deliverance but) weakness' lyrics made me nearly cry.

Deliverance seems very muhc to be similiar material to Bleak, but I also think it sounds a lot like Othello (the Shakespeare play)

Guy kills his girl cuz he loves her. To oversimplify.

I don't know what By The Pain is about, but I highly doubt it has anything to do with intimate relations, unless it involves someone being forced into one (Rise to submission...)

I doubt there's any kind of real meaning behind By The Pain I See In Others. However, Wreath has interesting lyrics. It seems to be about a dream, or a nightmare. It definitely seems consitant to at least that, although what the hell the nightmare is about is beyond me
