I played diablo 1 the other night after finding the disc stashed away. The music is great. Baulders was fun too, I have a huge nwn module in the works right now as well. Makes long shitty Michigan winters go by much quicker.

I just started up D2 again.... but with the unofficial patch "Back To Hellfire". It's totally new now. I really missed the monsters from number 1. I suggest you all (with d2) get the patch, it's worth a small trip down memory lane... though slightly altered.

And Diablo1 without Hellfire is just shit. You NEED Hellfire (Which I have if anyone needs it, since I doubt they sell it anymore).

And yes, I will preorder D3, even though I NEVER preorder ........................... although I've now done that with Warrel's disc, Fallout 3, and now this...

Actually, they've said D3 is coming out a lot sooner than we might think... so maybe in two years.

I have a bad feeling about D3. I fear it'll be too WoW like (graphics wise), not dark or scary enough. D3, as of now, feels very cartoonish. Plus, we might not even have the Necromancer... which has always been my favorite class.

That's why I prefer Warcraft 2 to 3. Well, aside from too many annoying fucking hero characters, WCIII was too damn cartoonish. With the cutscenes on the PS1 version, WCII was so much darker.

That's been my concern since the demo video came out, too, but all we can do is have faith Blizzard knows what they're doing. I'm pretty sure the necro is being replaced by the witch doctor.

I wish they'd add more god damn classes there isn't and has never been enough. Classes are the funnest part of games like this.
