Direct recording with Mac, Logic, Apogee

It's Hi-Z input. I've always wondered this myself. Do I need direct box or not.

Hi Z is guitar/bass input so you shouldn't need a DI box

Yesterday I called 8 major music stores in Europe.
Most of the experienced studio guys told me that a Mac + Logic + Apogee Duet should be the best (affordable) equipment for my needs. (For a Mac user).

I never heard of Revalver, but I will try it out if I get the chance.
