Do you like the Third Ear Band?

I love them, I found their music around 5 years ago when first intrigued by the title on the spine of an album, "Macbeth". Further perusing found instruments played by these musicians to include the oboe, viola, recorder, drums, cello, bass, guitar, violin.

D Mullholand, that album devoted to Air, Earth, Fire, and Water is a gem!

Ice, I recommend "Music for Egon Schiele" and "The Sea and the Bells" as well as "Selenography".
You asked about genre, the Quarterstick website calls them "Neo-Classical Post-Rock"?
