No no no, I mean I thought the way he phrased it might have been slightly sarcastic, referring to how convincing you've been with your past arguments against piracy, so it seemed like the equivalent of "oh yeah, I've been thinking, you were right about the whole immorality of bombing the entire village thing", stating the obvious. Or maybe he genuinely just realized it, so I guess better late than never!
not sarcastic. I never said I thought pirating was right. I just stated I think its silly to try to fight it and to think it is the end of the record industry.
however, I have come to realize that no you cant stop it, and yes they have found new ways to get payment for the medium, but we should in no way support it or condole it. when it comes down to it, illegal downloading is having a negative affect on the production of one of my favorite products. (besides condoms and cigarettes) and as an aspiring musician and producer, it affects my future livelihood. not something to be taken lightly.
