i think this thread illustrates best how the book should be written:
in the form of a pseudo-autobiographical yet fictional story of a boy who in growing up goes through several stages in his pursuit of understanding good and evil, including all heretofore mentioned stages as chapter names. once the book reaches the present day, launch into the personal take on it. anecdotes are funny and it's always easy to write about what you know (yourself).
