does anyone know who is supporting OPETH in london?

Satyricon aren't doing it anymore (too expensive - plus you'd have to book a seperate hotel room for Satyr's ego). Akercocke are still on, but no third band has yet been confirmed. I know who's in the running though, but I don't think anyone would appreciate it if I blabbed. :)

me and my friend had a smoke last night,and were talking about who would be the perfect support.and we both said it would be amazing if BLOODBATH or DECAPITATED supported.

Bloodbath seemed more likely seems that they have just released an album as well.but mikael would be playing for ages if that happend.

and i was only wishing for Decapitated,i never thought it would happen though.

i saw them play back in december,and they were so incredible.one of the most perfect live performances i have seen.so both of my favorite bands on one bill huh.this is going to be without a doubt the best gig i have ever been to.


nice to see that opeth actually post here as well.thats cool

i dont know why i said december.i meant september of this year.

i saw them supporting vader and krisiun,and decapitated blew both bands offstage.there intensity and precision is like no other band i have seen live.i met the whole band as well,they are really cool guys.
the bands guitarist VOGG will be one of the best guitarists in metal ever(he's 20 now i think),and i actually mean that.just listen to his work on both of there albums,its so original and technical.i thought they had two guitarists first time i heard them.you should download there cemeteral gardens demo from when they were all about 13-16 as well,and see how excellent they were then.

im not sure if opeth are adding anymore shows to apart from the london date,i think its just a one of for the kerrang:rolleyes: k-fest.but its on dec 4th.you better hurry up and get tickets,it will be sold out soon.

im pretty sure that they will do a bigger euro tour soon enough though.
 
dont get me started about the last tour.i only had one other person who wanted to come with me,and by the time the show came around i didnt have enough money.i was so annoyed.

i almost cried.
 
*sigh* Wish I were still in London at the moment. :cry: My thoughts were somewhere along the lines of "FUCK, BITCHSHIT, DAMMIT!" when I saw about a week ago that they're doing a gig there. Oh well, I saw them twice this year (Mean Fiddler and Birmingham Academy). Man, I want to see them again though! :waah:
