Let`s test...
My favourite movies:
1.The Crow
2.Natural Born Killers
3.True Romance
4.Crimson Skies
5.Clerks
What about yours?
:headbang:

There was a similar thread some time ago, but anyway, the best movie ever is no doubt:

THE SEVEN SAMURAI by Akira Kurosawa. Magnificent camera-work, great story and really stands the test of time (as it is several decades old).

-Villain

My favorite movies are:

Nosferatu
Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Mouse Hunt
Eve's Bayou

I especially love Nosferatu... the way it is filmed is so unique and beautiful. Too bad Orlock died.

A recent movie I saw and liked is Office Space. :D

Lord of the Rings
The Godfather series
Four Rooms
Braveheart
Most of Monty Python

These films are awesome!!!!!!!!!!

About Lotr: Man, that's the fastest three hours of my life! Can't wait for "Two Towers".

good to see plenty of Bravheart fans........ thus my list.

1. Braveheart
2. Lord of the Rings - FOTR
3. Gladiator
4. Snatch
5. Monty Python - Quest for the Holy Grail

Bravheart is favorite movie of all time.......something spectacular must come along to dethrone it, and no movie has ever made me cry several times other than this one (the ending is fuckin powerful.....) uh ok im done being a sissy :D

Well... I'll put the Indiana Jones' trilogy seperately, cause it's very special to me (even though I'm bored to watch it nowadays :D ). Then my favourite movies are:

1.Braveheart (the only movie that made me cry)
2.Lotr (even though I don't love it very much but I know I will in the future)
3.Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

1. Lord of the rings (the third time i watched it i cried quite a lot in the end .... quite embarassing.... hopefully the cinema was empty)

2. Pulp Fiction

3. Dracula (romantic stuff,good for crying ;) )

it's hard enough coming up with a list, without ordering it, so

monty python - life of brian (this has gotta be the funniest movie i've seen)

bladerunner (dunno why, i just like the atmosphere of it)

evil dead 2; dead by dawn (favourite horror movie, well, maybe evil dead 1...but it didn't have a chainsaw, so...)

if someone hadn't posted it, i wouldn't have thought of it, but yeah, pulp fiction too :)

and i loved the crow, but can't stand it now after the crow 2...3, & 4 (i think there's a 4?)

godfather trilogy was pretty funky

oh, & gotta put in the lexx "movies", kinda tv movie/episode things, but still

F_V you dissident ;)

well to me.....

The Lord Of The Rings
Star Wars (TRIlogy)
Schindler's List
Breaveheart
and now there's a lot of movies coming to my mind (Top Secret, Naked Gun, Hot Shots, Spaceballs, As Good As It Gets, Great Lebowski....)

fathervic (homecinema lover)

copy/paste from the Vintersorg movie thread :

La Haine (The Hate)
Mulholland Drive
Lost Highway
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (Amelie)
La Cité de la Peur (?)
Place Vendome, even if it isn't so great, but i am in love with Emmanuelle Seignier (La 9e Porte, / 9th Gate ?)

since it is asked, i think if i didn't like metal, i wouldn't have liked El Día de la bestia ... but it makes long time i have not seen it, i saw it before his spanish release, since it was in the Fantastic'Arts fest in Gerardmer (France, 50 km from the place i lived) ... i would really like to see it again, but the VHS or DVD are not available in France, and i need a subtitled version

oh my god, i just found it, in a package with one of my favorites movies ! C'est arrivé près de chez vous, by and with my God Benoît Poelvoorde ...
the 2nd movie is known as Man bites Dog in the non speaking french countries, i think ...

I thought this thread was about soundtracks and film scores

Music doesn't exactly affect them but it makes it more pleasant, if it's a good soundtrack, that is.

my favorite movies/soundtracks
-twin peaks, lost highway, blue velvet, eraserhead (david lynch/angelo badalamenti)
-nightmare before xmas, sleepy hollow, beetlejuice, ed wood, vincent (short) (tim burton/danny elfman)
-suspiria, phenomena, tenebre (dario argento/the goblin)
-abre los ojos, tesis (alejandro amenabar)
-dancer in the dark (lars von trier/björk)
-el día de la bestia, acción mutante (alex de la iglesia)
-lord of the rings, braindead (peter jackson)
-la morte vivante (jean rollin)

i would really like to see it again, but the VHS or DVD are not available in France, and i need a subtitled version
i saw it last night :p
