The samples are from various cannabis propaganda videos. Theres loads of ace ones. Expect a sample heavy album.
Awesome, there is some pretty hilarious anti green propaganda out there. When's an album/EP expected to be released? I'd definitely buy a copy

Ooft, well two songs are completed. A 3rd is bout half way done i think. We just need to get our heads down and then crack on with recording which wont be a problem. Only problem might be finding a propper drummer... because im shit.

Yeah, and they also include Lamb of God (and a load of other non-death metal bands) in their list of death metal bands.

Swallow the Sun are doom. If I had to put them in a box they'd be 'melodic death/doom' - but I get tired of putting bands in boxes.

I've been a big My Dying Bride fan for many years now and I've always been a firm believer that there's not really any point listening to other gothic/death/doom bands because non of them are anywhere near as good as My Dying Bride.
Still, try out Paradise Lost, Mourning Beloveth, Anathema, The Prophecy, Mournful Congregation... there might be something you like there. Let me know!

* Dale Crover: Drums - Melvins, Altamont, The Men of Porn, Nirvana
Neurosis, St Vitus, Sleep and Melvins... You couldn't ask for anymorer. And seeing as Scott Kelly is my favourite musician this is a winner. Seriously try this one out. The mix of Scott and Wino on vocals is the best!
