Yeehaaa fantastic news, Dragonforce are playing some dates in January and I know there's at least 3 of us on here that think they're brill, so hopefully they'll be playing near you so you can check them out. I'm getting my tickets at the weekend to see them at The Carling in Glasgow - it's going to be mindblowing.:headbang: :headbang:

Thanks for that info princess! I quite like what i have heard myself and intend to buy the album asap!

I got the metal hammer magazine today with the dvd that has a vid of theirs on it, watch it later when im more pissed i think!

They are a fantastic band Liam and they were playing in Edinburgh in September but I just couldn't make it through to see them but I did make the effort to go see Saxon in Edinburgh. I later heard that Dragonforce put on a blistering performance and I was quite annoyed with myself that I hadn't made more of an effort to see them.

But the strange thing is that at the Motorhead concert on Monday night I was with an old school friend and I said to him, have you heard of a band called Dragonforce, they are awesome. He hadn't heard of them and I said when they come to Glasgow, we will have to go see them. Next day I checked their site and there was a Glasgow date announced - spooky or what!!!!!!! And its only £11 for a ticket - thats brilliant - I usually pay that and sometimes even a wee bit more than that to see just a tribute band!!!!

Valanx - you must try and check out Dragonforce if they're playing close to you and why don't you drag your Emperess with you - its about time she listened to some decent music. Have you not managed to get her into Diamond Head yet lol!!!!!!!

Thats not a bad idea, the manchester date being the most viable for me..
As for the diamond head, well that depends you see, if i dont get my xbox 360 for christmas then i will play it at her 24/7 until she gets me one!! lol
 
Oh don't be such a pussy Crusader and start saving your money just now and go to both concerts cos Dragonforce won't do another tour after the February one for at least a year. It's easy, just cut down on all that alcohol you drink at the weekend, instead of having like 18 pints every night, just have about 15 pints and with the extra money you save, you'll be able to afford to go to the Dragonforce gig. I canny wait to see them, they will rock like a psycho.

Music and alcohol go hand in hand admittedly, but when it comes to the bottom line, I will always choose music over and above everything else AND THAT INCLUDES PORN AS WELL VALANX!!!!!!!

Its as simple as this,I would quite easily starve for a month just so as I could afford a ticket to see a band I liked. If you were right into your music Crusader you wouldn't think twice about going to see Dragonforce - you've got well over 2 months to get some money together - plus of course you think Sonic Firestorm is blistering. You better go see them or else you will be the next one being decapitated and then disembowelled!!!!!!

Errm who are you???? On hang on I do know who you are, are you that skanky hoooeeer who keeps coming along to see all those rock bands with me - you usually end up getting totally wasted and end up pulling some young nubile 21 year old:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: .

It took me a few minutes to work out who you were Alex cos the name threw me a wee bit but yes I'm loving your name, really suits you!!! I doubt very much if there's going to be many 21 year olds at the Magnum gig but maybe that 17 year old longhaired rocker who was trying to pull me at Saxon gig might be there - or better still maybe the shaved head dude I met at Saxon and Motorhead, hopefully he'll be there - but hands off, he's mine!!!!!!!!

:headbang: I whent to see dragonforce on tuesday 27th september 2005 St.gorges hall exeter and it was great i thinki will probaly go to london in 2006 to see them agin:headbang:

I'm really looking forward to seeing Dragonforce at end of January - January is usually such a long and boring month but the thought of seeing Dragonforce at the end of it will keep me sane and happy all thru January!!!

I would guess I will go see Dragonforce too, after Magnum, etc.
But thinking of going on a trip to Budapest, Prague or just somewhere interesting...
You know of the NWOBHM bands, I rather liked ROCK GODDESS.
Whatever happened to the Turner sisters ?
Also, does anyone know of guys who still wear spandex ???

(apart from Rob Halford, who I know for a fact does :D )
