Dragonforce MySpace bulletin:

DragonForce's New York show at the Avalon has moved to a new date. The show will now take place on Tuesday 2nd May 2006. Tickets will be available on sale at the following web site this week: http://www.rondelsenerpresents.com/avalon/schedule.html

Looks like they figured out booking on the same night as Gamma Ray was suicide.

It's not really the distance that's the issue. Firstly, driving to NYC just plain blows so I tend to use the LIRR. Second, I do have other things going on other than shows to schedule around, believe it or not

I drive in & around NYC every day of my life, so really, you're not going to get any sympathy from me.

I commented more because I don't think anyone that lives within 60 miles of NYC has any right to bitch AT ALL when it comes to when or where concerts are. 95% of the country doesn't get the live music opportunities we do; I'm sure most people here would trade places with you.

Then again, you live on Long Island, so probably not.
