It's not really the distance that's the issue. Firstly, driving to NYC just plain blows so I tend to use the LIRR.

I drive in & around NYC every day of my life, so really, you're not going to get any sympathy from me.

I commented more because I don't think anyone that lives within 60 miles of NYC has any right to bitch AT ALL when it comes to when or where concerts are. 95% of the country doesn't get the live music opportunities we do; I'm sure most people here would trade places with you.

Then again, you live on Long Island, so probably not.

I'm definitely not complaining about where I am. I love being somewhat close to NYC, you can't beat it when it comes to the opportunities for shows. Its really the only reason I love being out here

I'm gonna try my hardest to make the show with work my school/work schedule, so hopefully I can see you guys there.
