Anyhow, I'm going. I've seen dragonforce live twice and they put on a great show, and Turisas are awesome.

Not dislike, just not a huge fan.
But after hearing Rasputin I really started digging them. I dunno why, that song just changed it for me.
I really like As Torches Rise as well.
And I'm confident Turisas will put on a fantastic show.

both are brilliant imo. my favorite song comes from battle metal. plus, nothing can beat the excitement i experienced when i first heard battle metal. it holds a special place in my heart

It doesn't get any more epic than:

Battle Metal- The Land of Hope and Glory
The Varangian Way- Five Hundred and One

The choir part at the end of Five Hundred and One annihilates all other forms of epic. Such a fucking brilliant passage. And The Land of Hope and Glory is incredible too.

"FAAAAAAR, AWAAAAAAAAAY, WHERE SUNSHIIIIIIIINE NEVER FAAAAAAAADES!!!"

All there other songs just slay as well. They have a great balance of epic-ness and raw aggressiveness.
