Dragonforce's greatest hits album. A must buy!!

Oooh, man...

I love how the quote is by Herman Li himself, LOL. One of the payment methods is "First Born Child" and the name of his book: AMaj7 Arpeggio Shapes, Hahahahaha. Has anybody seen that "Betcha Can't Play This" video of DF where Herman Li talks about an arpeggio with added notes that are hammered in? After playing it a few times slowly, he realized that it's AMaj7 and tries to play it really quickly, but it's sloppy as hell. Classic.

I noticed that also when I first saw it. There was even a video that slowed down his arpeggios to show how sloppy they were.

I looked up for the original one and it was actually worse than that... Not to mention what the other guy tried to play...

I liked Dragonheart when they had 4 songs and an EP on mp3.com back in 2002. Oh but now they have 3 full length albums, changed their name due to copyright, and of those 3 albums...only the first contains actually listenable songs, and they're suddenly more popular than Rod Stewart.

Yeah, two years ago I actually thought that it was pretty good power metal (the first album), but when I listened to the second one... I started feeling like they have absolutely nothing new and all the good elements were gone... And it's gone worse ever since. Disciples Of Babylon is still pretty good song, I think.

I showed this vid to my guitarist (who loved the band) and he said "You know... no matter how much I love this band, that's so dead on. They really do the same chord progressions, same speed on every song, etc." so that was pretty funny. He was rofling.

Funny though how no one bitched about the songs "sounding the same" like this when Reign in Blood came out.

Reign In Blood was a hammer to the forehead full of speed, fire and attitude...and a relatively new mix of thrash, hardcore, death and black metal...hey, it was 1986, Al Gore was still perfecting the internet.
