Man...if it doesn't have anything to do with Opeth it has to be posted in the non-opeth forum. But Katatonia no question. DT have some ok at best early material imo. Katatonia while I don't love them have some pretty good albums. Plus its Dream Theater.

Has anyone here actually listened to Phish? They are INCREDIBLY talented musicians. Never mind the fact that their fan base is essentially a complete drain on society. God I hate neo-pseudo-hippies.

Anyway, I've always thought that Opeth is one of the few acts could definitely pull off live sets in the same vein as Phish or the Dead. Extended jamming, incredibly long sets, musical improv between songs. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
