Dredg thoughts

It has good songs. Yatahaze is amazing.
But it also has non-songs and I'm not into that.

I remember reading the booklet while listening the first time. It was a nice little journey, but a worn out novelty now.

"El Cielo" is one of my all-time favorite albums. "Catch without Arms" is also very good, a strong follow up to EC, just not quite as good imo.

just bought Catch without arms and oh man this is totally a master piece like "el cielo". Can't stop listening to the whole album.

so i have a question should i bother to buy the other album ? i really like both their last works but considering most people rates EC and CWA as the best dredg has atm, should i really go and get Leitmotif?

yes, leitmotif is really good. it has some classic dredg songs on there

Leitmotif is fucking good, but probably my least fave of their 3 albums.

I also don't have Leitmotif, but love El Cielo and Catch Without Arms. Is Leitmotif heavier in approach? How's the production? I heard it's very different from their other two...

Someone please compare it to El Cielo, their masterpiece IMO.

Ok just bought leitmotif.

Its ok, not woah but actually quite enjoyable, its more heavier, rough production which is not bad its adds to the feeling, i 'll say if you like EC and CWA you will also be hooked by leitmotif.
