Drudkh - The Swan Road

We even said that pretty much any album in a top 10 list is interchangeable, depending on the mood.
I think I may have said this as well, but AA is #1, all others #2.

Policy on selling CDs: if I can hear a song in my head from it, I don't sell it.

Okay. Let's make a deal... 4 Noltem tapes for the ass-sucking- but you HAVE to cover yourself in Pepto Bismal (not that fucking liquid shit, you're going to crush up the pill-form and mix it with water to form a delightful paste) and wear a blue dress.
Red dress and we have a deal.

Opinions change. Some albums lose their initial allure. AA is one such example.

Yeah, but man, it's only March 10th. You called AA in your top ten list like 8 weeks ago....and you had it for a long while too didn't you?

Fine. Meet me at the Main St. Strip Mall... in like 20 minutes. I'll supply the dress, wear a fucking bib because I don't want stains on my pretty red.

I think we all pretty much said it, and I'd expect people to assume it. There is no way I'm comparing Isis, Mar de Grises, and Megadeth in the same light.

I even said at one point that I'd prefer not to make a numerical list, but just list 10 albums. Thing is, then you can't do the overall list so I played ball.

I got it a little after it came out, I think. I'm not saying it's a bad album. It's just not a classic, masterpiece, 10/10, etc.

I will probably go back to it in a few months to see what I think. Maybe it will impress as it did when I first heard it. It happens....

I guess I'm not seeing the significance of it being in my Top 10 as much as you are. So it was the 8th best CD out of the 20 or so 2004 albums I got........

Needless to say, I hope you AWR bitches are swayed to Keeley's pre-order idea for The Swan Road. It's an easy bit of money for you, and we get the album we want!

Why don't you all US-people just gather some money together and make an wholesale order from Faustian Distribution? At least save some postages and I must say, that Faustian is VERY reliable place to order.

100% support!

Because I assume that "Ancient Winds Records" has been set up as a legal entity, no? They are a registered re-seller / business. Otherwise, yeah, why wouldn't anybody just buy at wholesale then?

Simply because you're saying that AA is overrated based on what others are saying, when you said the same thing yourself.

It's like I say "War Pigs" is a great song, then another 20 people say the same thing, and then I turnaround and say it's overrated.

I quote something from Northern Heritages site:

Labels, distributions as well as just individuals can buy for wholesale prices. You don't have to be official company or even have name for distribution. If you are willing to take 5 or more copies per title, you can obtain wholesale price. NH prefers to use underground network than large (/mainstream) distribution companies.

So wholesale doesn't always mean you have to have a "real business".

I've heard people say they got even less than 5 at wholesale prices... like 3 or 2. Wanna give 'er a try, JK?

Odds that JayKeeley's new thread will become one of those void threads, if it even posts at all:

Plus I said "for those who heard it". It doesn't count when you only heard it 3 days ago for the first time and then decide to not like it just to be 'different'. :loco:
