id love something that translates drum maps, so that any samples can be used and interchanged without much mucking about with the file.
mac version would be excellent too
NONE of you guize have used ezplayer free??
toontrack made an app that does exactly this, acts as a map wrapper that translates in real-time between MIDI and the vsti. also sweet for auditioning MIDI files from a library before plopping them on the track. there's ezplayer pro, which i'm yet to use, and ezplayer free, which functions beautifully as a map wrapper.
looks like they discontinued the free version, most likely in support of ezplayer pro (which is honestly completely different, byt the looks of it.) if anyone wants it i'll hook it up, since it was free after all, right?
