I don't wanna start a debate with you either but Peart is much more skilled and better all around drummer than Portnoy. They are both awesome though.
 
I would pick Martin Lopez from that selection, but only because I think his creativity as a drummer outshines the rest of them. I have a HUGE soft spot for Gene Hoglan though, so I would probably pick him second. Yeah, i know he can't do mellow stiff for shit, but anyone who can play that fast and be that fat gets my vote :grin:
