Drums and Light Together

I don't know if this is old but, I have an idea that would be cool.

Connecting drums and lights in a metal concert would be nice I think. I am not an expert but maybe if you put impact sensitive sensors on drums, and connect them the light setting so that they light up right at the drum equipment is used. ( like blue for bass drums, yellow for snare etc )

What do you guys think?

Well right now I'm thinking of getting myself another glass of milk because I love milk. But thread-related, I guess it would be cool though I'm not an expert in those things. I just don't imagine the effect of a blast-beat.

Personally, people light up their shows in unique ways. I've never seen a light show like Van Halen, let's put it that way

If you want it, people will think it kicks ass. I think at least one person will mention it, anyway.
