Would Evans drumheads help? There pretty cheap but I dont know much about them............ Jaska uses the G2 clear and coated tom heads. He also uses a Evans AF patch for his bass drum?? What does that do?

it doesn't protect the head, as much as it give you a nice short, but explosive sound.
personally i like remo drumheads, 2-ply for the top and 1-ply for the bottom.

ive been looking at these arbiter flats drumsets, there cheap and all i want one is to practice. any opinions of arbiter or flat kits? drummers?
I also need a recommendation for a snare drum made by Pearl. There's a pretty good selection and I dont know what I need

Are you saying that the Evans AF patch is what makes his bass drum sound so good? Hope it is cuz im buying one right away then

I didn't know drums cost so much. I have no idea but i heart the drums. If i were in a band, that would be my instrument.....straight-out brutality w/o melody. I'm not so creative to make any tunes.
