Dumbest suggestions by clients

Just unblocked something from about two/three years ago:

- the guy: 'Look here; I'm an AMAZING singer. So, I want you to help me compose and record AT LEAST 5 songs all by myself, but it can't take more than a couple of sessions!' (as if I was prepared to scam him/rob him from his 'ideas')
- me: (totally confused) I'm a guitar teacher...
- door knob: yeah, so?

I was informed that there was missing splash hits...

We recorded a real drumset, there were no edits or samples at that point they were referencing.

He just failed to play his shit correctly and somehow it was insinuated that it was my fault.

They also asked me to turn up the splash hits...

Which I sort of did with automation, but damn it was annoying if he wanted them more audible he should have RAISED THEM UP.

Exactly same here, and also the china cymbal was completely inaudible in the mix, so what I did was program the china cymbals and stack them on top. It actually sounded awesome and wasn't a complete pain in the ass as I'd think before.

Also I had to automate some bell cymbals to be audible as well...

However he was an awesome drummer, just he hitted cymbals like a total vagina
