Maybe I've just grown out of thrash a bit lately as I listen to more post-rock and Buckethead, but this album really doesn't do it for me. I've listend to various songs quite a few times and they just don't seem to click. I think I'd have to agree with Dave's 3/5 review.

I don't really know what everyone's big problem with 'not clicking' is. The only thing that's not clicking with Skull for me is Outsider which really seems like a throwaway but the rest of the album is great!

For me this album is one of those growers, at first spin it doesn't seem to offer much but it it reveals it's hooks slowly but steadily. And hey, I'm old...

Listening to the new Seregon or Gama Bomb albums will surely make you change your mind on that statement

But yeah, its the old "every brain is wired differently" story. Same reason why some people like tuna and I absolutely despise it.

I'm sorry, but the new Seregon was... awful. I really did not like. That EP they had before that was amazing, and... wow what a crappy follow up.

The new Gama Bomb did kill, though.
