Dont really want to pay $99 just for that midi guitar program though :/ Might see if i can do this with melodyne.

What midi guitar program? Reatune comes with Reaper for free

^ Yeah that one. Its supposed to be able to create midi from polyphonic guitar parts. The Reatune thing is cool too but polyphonic would be even better! Maybe I'm just being a little to greedy.

Dope! I'm making a tutorial right now with the same thing but you can play full chords and it recognizes it flawlessly with this plug I found. Cheers!

When can we expect said tutorial?! :O I would shit bricks if I could do that with a guitar.

Did anybody figure out how to view the midi information in the vsti? I would be great just to lay out basic notes with the guitar and expand it from there in terms of chords, etc.

I've been doing that years ago already but if you are using your guitar for simple melodies, you are better off using a keyboard right away

Yeah, but still, it would be much more convenient for me timewise. And also, in terms of bass programming, it would be GREAT.

been playing around with MIDIguitar+zombass for about an hour now. No matter how i set the latency it just doesnt react correctly. your better off just punching in the midi or using a keyboard.

It's been able to do this for years, I used to mess around with this when i was in college 3-4 years ago! Good fun but it's not very useful, especially if you've a midi keyboard lying around already.

You can also audio ->midi software to trigger drums. Instant perfect bass drum patterns!
