Educational Software...can I use it??

I am not a student. If I'm recording a student who wants symphonic samples, can I have him buy the software (at student discount) and then install it on my computer?

I'm sure he can buy the copy for you, then you just register it under you name. i imagine it would be fine, although not technically "ethical".

Not legal, the license is supposed to stay with the purchaser, and student licenses prohibit resale or often even lending to others.

Just saying. He should buy it, install on yours, then uninstall and take the thing with him. Should.

Not a lawyer, but seems like so long as it's only installed on your com for his use (basically) and he/you uninstall it when finished so he can take the ware home, and it's never on more than one com at the same time... then maybe it's legal. Maybe.

Educational software can only be sold to other persons who also are educational legally.

Pfft I buy stuff with my sisters educational discount all the time. I'm a highschool student, but they only give the discounts to university students. I really don't see anything wrong with it.
