I hear Dashboard Conffessional get tagged as EMO, but then I hear people using it to describe Killswitch Engage and Poison the Well....

so what the fuck is it??

my part-time student-loan job is at this store where a bunch of 14-16 year olds also work. two of the 16 year olds were talking about this incredible emo show they went to "where the lead singer even (pause for effect) cried on stage" "whoaaa no way dude! that is incredible!!!" "i am trying to learn how so i can do it with my band" "right on!" and so on and so forth.

I saw the dude from Mohinder break down and cry on stage. The Indian Summer dudes seemed to get pretty close sometimes. I went to a lot of emo shows 'back in the day'.

My own band? Never, no way.
