Engl Savage 60???

I might have the opportunity to get a Engl Savage 60 head for a goooood price... Ever played that thing? How does it compare to the 120 soundwise?

For what I know the 60 sounds different to the 120.

It's supposed to go more into the rock style, should be harder to get a decent metal tone with that series.

But if you have the cash, buy it, and when he sucks sell it for the same price or make a bit money with it.

Now, lets contribute to the thread:
Blackmore (the guitar player) has used the Savage 60 for a while, and supposedly they based the Blackmore Signature Head on the Savage 60. It has less gain then the Savage 120 and they EQ controls are very different.

I have a Savage 60...it sounds different than the 120 but you can get a decent metal tone. It's a dry amp and I like much more my 6505+

great metal amp! don´t know the savage 120 but i recorded the savage 60 many times and it´s definately a great amp.
i think it´s worth more than 400 euro but if you find one for under 400 get me one as well.
