Epic Songs

I know similar threads have been started, but I went ahead and started this one. What are some epic songs? I'd say Opeth has a lot of these, like Black Rose Immortal and Blackwater Park. But I'd also add Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and One by Metallica. So, what are your opinions? ready go...

Fuck Bohemian Rhapsody, The Prophet's Song is where it's at.
Anything by Rhapsody is epic... Or any other power metal for that matter.
I find The Moor to be the most epic of Opeth's songs and the whole Still Life to go with it.

Dan Swano's stuff is very triumphant. It's got that cliched 80's vibe about it. The two Crimson albums plus his Moontower release are great 'epic' metal albums.

ANYTHING by In the Woods is practically just as epic as anything by Opeth, imo.

Then there's some stuff by bands like Emperor and ESPECIALLY kick-ass Dimmu Borgir albums like Enthrone Darkness Triumphant and Spiritual Black Dimensions.

Also, I think Virgin Black should be considered as well as old Katatonia (particularly the Dance of December Souls album.)

Don't get In the Woods... later material unless you enjoy cheezy power metal mixed in with your BM riffs. A bit too pretentious for me.

I second Nile-Unas, Slayer of the Gods. One of the best DM songs ever.
