When this thread first showed up, my initial thought was "Borknagar!" but I didn't post anything because it's so glaringly obvious.

However, I just remembered this particular song. This song is so far above and beyond epic it's not even really that funny. This song's played a very big part in the development of my musical taste over the last decade or so. Simply amazing. Vortex is an epic fucking dude no matter how you slice it.

Storm Of the Lights Bane is epic and heavy and awesome as fuck. I wish I could've seen Dissection just once.

I'm writing a pretty epic song right now, but in terms of faggotry haha, it's going to have thrash riffs mixed with synth and gay harmonies and melodies, I'm almost positive it will get shot down by the other guys in the band haha.
