Is this legit, and will it upgrade to pod farm 2 ?

I just can't believe the price, seeing as podfarm in polish stores costs around 300 euro.

I can't fathom why they describe it as "optional" , it's definitely a requirement to use the software at all.

Optional because you don't have to buy the iLok with PODfarm from Thomann. You need one, though
As TheDriller said, you need an iLok for POD Farm (no matter if it's POD Farm 1 or 2)

300 ??? I'm pretty sure even from line6 mails back when they were advertising it, it was a lot less.

I think you need an iLok to run it without a line6 hardware.

If you have a line6 soundcard like a toneport, you don't need one.

If you don't have any line6 hardware, you need an iLok.

I guess because I personnally owned several toneports
