Extol...

I love Undeceived, one of my favorite albums...I dont understand the lyrics enough to realize what they're totally saying, so Im not bothered by them, even though I know that if I read them, they would piss me off, therefore I dont read them.

They're not a bad band. I only have Synergy and to me it isn't that bad, it's got some pretty cool riffs and it's technical. The lyrics don't bother me, as the songs I listen to aren't that all preachy and try to remain as neutral or metaphorical as they can instead of blatantly shouting their religion out to the world. The idealogy of a band can be something so boring, cliched or absurd, but it's good if they present this well with good lyrics and good music.

I don't think they are really preaching anything, they just draw inspiration from it. I haven't read a lyric that said Christianity is the way to go or anything. Personally I think they could give writing non-christian lyrics a chance sometimes, as it gets really old being in every song.

IMO Undecived is their best by far. Songs like Embers and Time Stands Still are just fuckin badass. Synergy is just ok...a bit too thrashy and the vocals are more thrash too. As far as the lyrical content....I listen to bands that promote satanism, white pride and other such nonsense so why should their lyrics bother me?
