Well with all of that Christmas money I received I went a little insane..they go as follows:
Bathory - Blood Fire Death (Nice and raw black metal!! HAIL!)
Isis - Oceanic (Different, but very deep and very good)
Myrkskog - Superior Massacre (BR00TAL as fuck. Must have for any fan of black/death metal.)
Today is the Day - In The Eyes of God (One of the most important discs I now own)
Haste - When Reason Sleeps (A bit on the hardcore side, but I like it alot.)
Extol - Undeceived (About one of the only Christian metal bands that really has it..perhaps because they are from overseas?)
Napalm Death - The Complete BBC Radio Sessions (MInd boggeling grindfuckingcore)
Immolation - Unholy Cult (A staple Death metal album. \m/!!)
Cryptopsy - None So Vile (Need I say more..)
Nasum - Version 2.0 (Excellent disc..a must have grindcore album indeed!!)
Crowbar - Equilibrium (New Orleans sludge)

Friday I bought with X-mas cash:
David Cross-Shut Up, You Fucking Baby
James Murphy-Feeding The Machine
Aborym-Kali-Yuga Bizarre
Testament-The Legacy(ordered)
Testament-The New Order(ordered)
Testament-Practice What You Preach(ordered)

Just placed my order for VILE depopulate, and i've got BLOODBATH resurrection through carnage and TERROR 2000 faster disaster waiting for me in my mailbox at uni.

I also can't wait for the VILE re-release of stench of the deceased and BLOOD RED THRONE's affiliated with the suffering, which IS going to be one of THE best albums of 2003, I just know it!

And I don't have any money. YAY!

On friday I picked up dying fetus-killing on adreline. I'm not a huge fan of American death metal, but holy shit those guys are amazing, that drummer is fucking fast as hell, and their breakdowns are great.

TESTAMENT!!!!!!

That Nasum disc is "Human 2.0" not "Version 2.0". Just letting you know. And any haul that includes "Unholy Cult" AND "None So Vile", no matter how much crap it may be surrounded by, is indeed a worthwhile haul.

I bought more CDs than usual this month and here are the ratings:

Cold - 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage - 8/10
Down - Down II - 8.5/10
Faith No More - The Real Thing - 7.5/10
Napalm Death - Words From The Exit Wound - 7.5/10
PanterA - Far Beyond Driven - 9/10

I have no problem with that list except for you giving Cold and 8 out of 10...what the fuck? Cold are the most nu metal fuckin' lame teen angst faggotry probably ever..in my humble opinion..but to each his own I suppose.

Aurora Borealis - "Time, Unveiled" (Tim Yeung is an amazing drummer!") 4/6

Blood Red Throne - "Affiliated With The Suffering" (Very cool & brutal deathmetal) 5/6

Infernal - "Summon Forth The Beast " (Dark Funeral members in Dark Funeral with some Dissection-alike music.. Too bad its only a mcd.) 4/6

Norther - "Dreams Of Endless War"(I had it once, but lost it... Cool melodic shit in the vein of Children Of Bodom) 5/6

Septic Flesh - "Sumerian Daemons" (Pretty descent, but nothing groundbreaking) 3/6

Cheers!

Yeah Cold are nu-metal but I dont know if you can call them "the most nu-metal band" exactly. They do better than most other nu-metal bands lyrics like "MY GIRLFRIEND BROKE UP WITH ME SO I DID IT ALL FOR THE NOOKIE". Truely teen angst nu-metal is shit like Papa Roach. :puke: A few songs on that record was sort of slow and boring but most of it was pretty moving.
