dave is a good axmple.if anyone learns opeth from these popular guys it'll be great i think.. i believe that most of the people missing sth soo special and i'm sad for them..
i hate from all 'popular thing' but it's a good way to choose a few nice guys and see who can still use their brain...

Sidarta: the reason bands like Opeth don´t get that "popular" is that most ppl don´t have taste for anything else than the crap that is shown on popular music tv stations and played on radios etc etc. I agree with you that most ppl are missing out on sth very special and i pity them as well, but the sad fact is that they are not only missing out on good music, most of them NEVER think about anything seriously or anything philosophically or things like that.
Frankly, i wouldn´t want bands like Opeth to become too popular coz that would mean ppl that listen to the average poptrash band would start listening to decent music, and as i´ve said, they hardly have much maturity and.. i don´t know, i just think that even if they were listening to decent music they would lose out on a lot of it coz they just don´t get it.
