I feel I should explain...I fucked up the microphone...I printed out a copy of a picture for reference in black and white and tried to copy the shadows as much as possible. Ooooh, and I got a friend of mines to help take out some of the heinous marks with PhotoShop from where I'd rubbed lots of stuff out. (since I'm too poor to buy it and too lazy to steal it from a torrent). I also drew the shirt he was wearing but it turned out pretty crap so I just cut that bit out.

EDIT: Oh, and PS - it took me freaking ages 'cos I'm a perfectionist. I don't have any plans to do another one any time soon unless I have loads of spare time!

Yeah in other pics though where I need to put more detail into the eyes. I deliberately picked that picture because the eyes were easy


That one was fine but like the eyes you did on one of your pictures of Bob are fab! I hate drawing eyes because it seems like you can never capture the proper emotions and feelings that hide behind eyes.
