as a fan, i'd like to state for the record that i much prefer the band with john bush. maybe i'm in the minority but i think the 4 studio albums of original material they did with bush on vocals were the best stuff the band has ever done. very under-rated stuff. john seemed to diversify the band and the band stepped up their game at the same time, imo. they brought out the best in each other.

i also read an old interview with scott in a recent magazine reprint about how much belladonna and danny weren't team players, how their hearts weren't in it, etc. now scott has every right to change his mind and it's his band but i wonder what caused the 180?

as a fan, i'm disappointed. bush seems to be getting a bad deal- he more than kept this band afloat.i'm not interested in rehashing the past. the future looked brighter with bush in the band. i live in chicago and always see anthrax when they play here but i'll be taking a pass since bush is gone. it's not my band but as a fan, i still have a vote.

all this said, i still wish the band good will and the best of luck. i just hope they come to their senses and bring bush back before long.

I never liked their music with Bush. Maybe a song here and there, but my favorite shit was back in teh day....

....and we need you!

Even though I am excited about this Reunion I didn't want it at the expense of losing Bushy ...

We Love you ya crazy Bald headed Mother Fucker ... COME BACK FOR ALL US SOON!

Also Rob the same applies for you (except you aint bald!)

I WAY prefer Belladonna to Bush, both live and on cd. I saw Anthrax live a couple years ago and they just didn't have the fire they did back in the day.

Yeah John, you rule! Thanks for talking to me and my girlfriend at the RockHardFestival 2003 so warmly! You're the man.

btw...I can't understand it at all...the best album ever (WCFYA), always sold-out tours, in my opinion better and stronger than ever. I didn't see the end of the line for 'thrax. It was the right way. The first time I heard the news without telling us a reason hurt me...
Maybe time heals all wounds. I love the old records for sure and if things are that way, I really hope the new line-up creates good music that blows me away...
In the first place ANTHRAX isn't dead. And John-Boy isn't dead, too. I have a strong feeling we will hear a lot from him, with or without the guys...

Raise the flag for the 'thrax! (and another one for the Bush...not G.W.!

John should just stick to Armored Saint...love him with armored saint!....But all in all Joey is the best choice for the band! but much respect to bush

John Bush seems to be the choice of the fans who stuck by this band for the last 12+ years. I for one feel let down by Scott & Chuck as I have supported this band 14 times live & on every album. In fact I've bought the last few albums as gifts for friends countless times. Bring back John by years end & all is forgiven!

We love yu John, This wont last! See you in 06 bro.

Bring Back Bush and Caggiano!!!!!

Cos they have sooo much energy!!!,

The New Stuffs Great!!!

And Check Out The Pic above Of the Band !!!! At Least they look the part.

Joey Looks like somebodies Grandmother whose had a bad face lift and Dan................................

Joey is the best choice for Anthrax if they want to revisit their 80's sound... If they wan to make new music that will sound heavy, current, and fresh, they can't do that with Joey. Bush was the perfect fit for what Anthrax is these musically these days.

In all honesty, you probably couldn't find a worse person to sing for Anthrax's style in 2005 than Joey. Well... maybe Britney...but it's close.

EDITED to say that Britney may be a better fit because she can still hit all of her high notes.

Anthrax is a band from the Eighties, they are all about 40+ years old and it is only embarrassing if somebody like that tries to sound like a band that has just released its first album. Who would have been interested in Uriah Heep playing Thrash Metal? Stick to your roots, do what you´re best at - jumping on bandwagons usually doesn´t lead to success.
