 Who'd have thought, right?

Anyway, I didn't need to say that, but I was frustrated because so often I can't pick where to put bands. For instance, Jethro Tull classifies as one of my favorite folk rock acts, but they fit more into the category of classic prog rock.

progressive rock
hard rock
folk rock

so does Zeppelin but also add blues

so does Uriah Heep

yet none of these bands sound similiar

where does one throw Santana ? latin rock ? latin progressive jam rock ? commercial rock with Latin underpinnings ?

its all so madening
