Favorite Christian Bands?

Why bother about the band's beliefs? If the band is good, I'll listen to it, no matter if they're Catholic, Protestant, Atheist or Satanic!
Completely agree! But to name some Christian bands I like: Extol, Crimson Moonlight, Slechtvalk.

I dont listen to any Christian bands - if any Christian ever bothered to look into the history of their own faith, they'd realise it's built on a foundation of lies. So if a band is Christian, they lose all respect from me. (I'm not a satanist or anything BTW, I've just read a lot about Christianity, having been brought up a catholic)

I agree if the music's good it doesn't matter what faith they are - I just wouldn't give a Christian band the chance to force their crazy beliefs down my throat (and if they're not trying to advertise their beliefs, why are they known as a Christian band?)

Oh well. You're going to miss out on a couple of rather good bands then. Your loss. By the way, Sir, do you listen to Graveland, Burzum or even Judas Iscariot?

That's so fucking ignorant to not listen to bands just because of their beliefs. I'm a christian, yet Slayer is one of my favorite bands. It's not school or church, its fucking entertainment.

Maybe it is ignorant, but that's the way I feel. Like you say, it's entertainment - so why are these bands letting themselves be known as "christian"? I don't give a fuck about their religious leanings - so if they want to tag themselves as believing in that, well I'll keep away if that's okay? Don't get me wrong - if I suddenly found out that one of my favourite bands (say for example Anthrax) were all good practising Christians, I wouldn't stop listening to them or anything - it's just the bands that make it public they're religious - I have no interest in listening to them or their beliefs. Sorry - just my opinion and my choice. :erk:

And NO, I don't listen to Graveland, Burzum or Judas Iscariot.
