Personally I detest all modern computer graphic-covers. Derek Riggs used to do so great covers for Iron Maiden in the 80's but now his work mostly just sucks

the best artwork used to be done by a guy named Edward Repka back in the 80's,he done bands like Death,Evil Dead and some others i can't think of at the moment!another good artist was Jeff Sadowski who done the Laaz Rockit albums,also some of the Bolt Thrower albums have good artwork

I quite like the artist that tool uses "Alex Grey" he's got some great works
