Yeah. Neurosis, Isis, Cult of Luna, Red Sparrows, and Pelican are all in that sort of realm where they're halfway between stoner metal and hardcore punk. They could really be filed under either category.

Neil Young's "Live at Massey Hall" is basically the "soundtrack" for my pathetic existance. Nest-"Trails of the Unwary" is probably my top pick metal or non-metal. FOABP is a really good album, although after Aenestisize there is a drop-off in song quality for me.

I was pleasantly suprised by the Because Of The Times by Kings Of Leon. I never really considered myself a fan before, but it converted me with 13 excellent tracks. A really solid album, with flashes of brilliance.

The new Mars Volta album is coming out this fall, I can tell its gonna be sweet. I can't believe Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (their guitarist) isn't in the top 100, he is very talented. Their singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala was in the top 100 vocalists. And their old drummer was in the top 100 drummers (he was also taught drums by my brothers friends drum teacher).
