What is your favorite Opeth lyric, or which part of which song are you always singing aloud?


I have several favorite Opeth lyrics I'm always singing/growling outloud...

God, I love the way Micheal writes, so beautifully.

I am not always a fan of Akerfeldt's lyrics, sometimes they are a bit disappointing. But when they are on... gorgeous.

..jesus christ.. I could probably say all of the lyrics from every song from MAYH onwards! For some reason i don't like the lyrics on the first two albums that much, especially Morningrise. Or Deliverance. All of MAYH is amazing.. The same with Still Life.. Top 5 lines though:

'The Rain Was Waving Goodbye' .. that passage.

'Kept warm by the light of the lantern, lost sight of everything tonight'... My fave song of theirs.. perfectly captures Opeth and beautiful lyrics.

'They wear white for me, seeemingly jaded and lost
I forge myself into your dreams, and here I am your life' ... I always hum or sing this.. one of their best choruses without a doubt.

'Break of morning, coldness lingers on, shroud me into nightmares of the sun'
and
'Devious movements in your eyes moved me from relief
Breath comes out white clouds with your lies and filters through me'
Opeth's second best song and these two sets of lyrics just really clicked with me for some reason. Surprised no one else mentioned lyrics from this song!
