FAVORITE SHOCK ROCK BAND

Kind Diamond just seems like a theatrical metal band to me. It's almost like a play or something just with music. It's not offensive.

If you say so, I just think of rock as old stuff like Queen, Zeppelin, Cream etc.
I consider Manson alternative metal.

Those bands are rock in their generation. In the 90's/00's rock is a more broad term. Marilyn Manson is pop/rock.

Nowadays every band is labelled 'rock' The magazines I read its 'My chemical romance, rock!' 'Greenday, rock!' It'll be Hypocrisy being rock next or something.

There is no such thing as alternative metal, metal is alternative.

A wide variety of different bands can be rock. Image/dress code/style does not change styles of music. If you incorperate basic rock elements musically it's rock music. it's not rocket science.

Pearl Jam might be nothing like three doors down, but it's all rock music.
