This has probably been done before, but I don't really care since I haven't been on here in awhile. I'm curious to see what other people say. Mine is Closure by far, the percussion towards the end alone makes the album worth buying! Thanks to Opeth again for yet another masterpiece!

When's the next Damnation round, and who won the morningrise one?

Wow so many... To Rid the Disease or Windowpane are my favorite, but I picked To Rid the Disease because it progresses more than Windowpane and the piano in the middle is really ethereal. :D

Yeah using a word that Opeth has used in practically every CD!

^^^^^^^^

Have you guys noticed that Mikael seems to have an obsession with the word Ethereal?

Anywhoo here are my favorite songs in order:

To Rid the Disease
Windowpane
In My Time of Need
Weakness
Death Whispered a Lullaby
Closure
Hope Leaves
Ending Credits

Honestly, when I first got the CD, I listened to the first three songs some 10 times in a row before discovering To Rid the Disease. :D

After the MAYH, Still Life, Blackwater Park and Deliverance ones. :/

I'm checking the Morningrise poll now.

Good, good. ;)

which ever of Windowpane, In My Time of Need, Hope Leaves, To Rid the Disease, Endinc Credits or Weakness I've heard last..
honestly, I think they're all equally amazing
the only tracks that don't stand out as consistently for me are Closure and DWAL, though I love certain parts of each of them.

overall, though, i voted for To Rid the Disease
