Favourite ending to an Opeth song

Has anyone mentioned Harlequin Forest yet? I like that ending pretty much. I also like the Deliverance ending but I find the Harlequin Forest ending rhythm more intricate, more subtle, more tricky. Don't know how you feel but I think it is a try to musically express the "pyre smoldering" which ends the lyrics of the song.

Good thread.

Closure (LIVE, why the hell did they do what they did on the cd??? should have been a fade out)
BWP (just incredible)
Deliverance (agreed...crushes, lopez's cymbal work makes it more interesting)
Night and the Silent Water (fantastic crescendo)
To Bid You Farewell (really moving)
When
Baying of the Hounds

The drapery falls
when
ghost of perdition
Reverie-Harlequin
blackwater park
the grand conjuration

BENEATH THE MIRE. Can someone explain to me why they do not like the pure genius of this entire song?

I been asking this question since GR came out.

"I sacrificed more than I haaaaaaaaaaaaad! And left my woes beneath the mireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Followed by the best solo on the ablum IMO.

Deliverence... I like it, don't flame me.
Wreath, it's so neat and tidy. Ends the song well.

I love that syncopated pattern underneath that cathcy melody, it gives me an eargasm every time

GoP has a great ending that could go on forever, Nectar also has a very nice ending.

My favourite is in the midst... That ending segment is just so good :headbang:
