the taste is really disappointing, something so impressive-looking should ideally taste better imo. intelligent design? hardly.

as i recall it was very watery, kind of like a mix between cucumber and melon in flavour

Dunno. I have great memories of limes (used to have a huge lime tree in the garden). You can do really great stuff with lime... It can save even the worst beer... But just to eat Id have to go with mango. Fuck it Im going with lime.

Did you actually try the fruit itself? Fresh acai is only available in Brasil. Unless you're referring to the frozen variety, which is asfap and most certainly should be included on my list. Guava made my roster based on a boiled dish that I had growing up. We had a guava tree in my backyard, and my grandmamy would toss a ton in to a pot, add some brown sugar, and boil it to a finish. Since the entire fruit, seeds and all, were in the delicacy, it earned inclusion.
