I bet it'll come in handy when she starts dating. I'd hate to be the poor bugger that gets on Mike's bad side. Just one "DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" (think Bloodbath - Ways to the Grave) should be enough to make most 13 year old boys soil themselves.

-Mikey A, of course (hope he uses more variety on the new album)

-Jens from Meshuggah before he did the same scream for 20 albums

-Ihsahn, very emotive and so much (i think undeveloped) potential.

-Garm, although its very hit or miss. Some lines i think, "thats brilliant", other times hes just plain annoying.

Not a whole lot of vocalists that I really care for actually.

I've always liked AK from Flotsam and Jetsam, the earlier stuff when the metal scream was in...man could that guy hit a note. But since he's mellowed that out, he just has a good voice for the music plus very understandable.

Most of the others mentioned here are good ones, would add Ray Alder from Fates Warning.

Well, since FUBAR was the only one who mentioned him, I'll go ahead and scream DEVIN TOWNSEND. It's really odd that no one else has mentioned him, since he's easily one of the best vocalists in metal.

Other than him....

Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) - No one sounds like him.
Jonas Renkse (Katatonia, ex-October Tide, backup vocals in Bloodbath) - THE voice of depression.
Mikael Åkerfeldt - No need to explain.
Warrel Dane (Nevermore, ex-Sanctuary) - Very edgy voice, and very emotional.
Russell Allen (Symphony X, guest vocals on various other things) - His voice just soars, and can be very emotional.
Vincent Cavanagh (Anathema) - His clean vocals are so understated yet emotional.
Ihsahn (Emperor, Thou Shalt Suffer) - His screams were unbelievable, and he was developing quite a singing voice by the end of Emperor.
Vintersorg (Vintersorg, Borknagar, Fission, ex-Otyg, Waterfield, ex-Masticator) - Good black metal vocals, incredible clean vocals.

Oh, come on. His clean vocals are AWESOME. Especially in that one part of Crimson: "Now you must use your power, show the human race you are the one." Oh well, your opinion, I'll just leave it alone. ^__^;;
