Detective Clarence Beauregard
Dehumanized
I was pleasantly surprised by this album's consistency. Pretty much every Symphony X album has a few weak songs on it; this one has none.
Speaking of that, does anyone else hear similarities between The Sacrifice and Shades of Grey? That's probably the worst song they ever did, and The Sacrifice is muuuuch better, but it has some similarities to it in the overall structure, especially the guitar solo.
Revelation. There are tons of great songs like Eve of Seduction and Seven, but Revelation is the most epic, complex, and interesting.
This album and its much-loved title track proves, just like with 'Communion and the oracle' in 'V,' that Symphony X fans are wussies.
I'm surprised that 'Revelation' is doing so well after all the unfavorable press it had received.
Note: Talking shit on Symphony X fans at a Symphony X forum, not the best idea.
