I remember Enslaved getting thier 15 seconds of fame on the news here after Frost was released, when they played in New York in Viking attire.
When they came to a small metalfest here they only gave them time for 2 songs, and ABSU 3 songs. I was happy they came here though.

I have two of their albums, Perdition City and Nattens Madrigal. When I bought Perdition City I hadn't heard of their change, and thought it would be grim black metal. I was dissapointed

I read somewhere that they got a big budget for the recording of Nattens Madrigal, but they spent all their money on a car, booze and stuff.. then they bought a portable 4-track recorder and went into the woods and recorded the whole shit there.

I haven't heard NM yet, so I don't know if this is just bullshit or anything.
