You're not being objective Pieter ! Ok some bits of RATM here and there but i dunno ... It reminds more of Led Zeppelin than RATM on the whole ! Especially Cornell's voice.

okay its not bad, but not good either......
and i dont like it cause i 1. heard it before 2.it seems (maybe it isnt) they are playing together for the commercial aspect.

I'm with Pieter, if I want RATM-ish tunes I'll listen to their first ass-kicking album. But this Audioslave is quite crappy, basically the same music, different voice, which DOESN'T even fit the music! It's annoying.

i don't think it's either close to soundgarden or ratm. anyway, it's good music so who cares about that. really good and heavy production if you ask me.

Yes of course the original is from Bob... That's like "duhhh", but that's a word for teenagers isn't it.

No serious, The Fugees did a cover of it. Actually I think it is just Wycleff and two acoustic guitars, really great. Search for it, it is really summer barbecue type of good... :)

I personally think it's a horrible cover, and when that fella tries to hit a higher note, it doesn't sound too good either. Sounds like a crow in pain, actually  :)

And I ain't too comfortable to give credit to artist who mostly (of the songs I've heard) has done covers or ripped others in some other way. But anyway, as you might've guessed, I haven't listened to that guy (or fugees) that much, so I just could be full of sh*t for all I know... :D

It's true, he doesn't sing to clear allways, but I like it, many black people have a nice sound when singing like that... I dunno, that's why I like 'em old blues singers too. But hey, taste is taste...

I think it's good someone dares to cover a PF song, because these days (at least in my country), the media likes to talk shit about PF instead of honouring their legacy...
